Skin Booster — treatment
Injectables — in clinic

Skinfolio’s Skin Booster is a personalized injectable treatment designed to improve hydration, radiance, texture and overall skin quality. Every treatment is manually performed by a physician (MD) or licensed nurse, allowing the injection technique, product and placement to be tailored to your skin.

Depending on your concerns, your provider may recommend Redensity 1 or Restylane Vital Light. Rather than adding significant volume or changing your facial shape, Skin Booster helps your skin look smoother, fresher and naturally revitalized.

What Is a Skin Booster?

A Skin Booster is an injectable treatment that places small amounts of a selected formulation within the skin. Unlike traditional dermal filler, it is not primarily used to add volume, contour the face or reshape individual features.

Instead, treatment focuses on improving the condition of the skin itself. Depending on the selected product, it may improve hydration, smoothness, elasticity and overall radiance.

Personalized Booster Selection

Your provider will assess your skin and recommend the formulation that best matches your needs.

Redensity 1 is a hyaluronic acid skin booster designed to improve skin quality. It may be selected for dehydration, dullness, fine lines and early signs of ageing.

Restylane Vital Light is a lightweight, stabilized hyaluronic acid skin booster that supports hydration, elasticity and smoothness. It may be selected for thinner or more delicate areas.

Manually Injected by Medical Professionals

Every Skin Booster treatment is manually injected by a Skinfolio physician or licensed nurse. Manual injection allows the provider to adjust the depth, amount and placement of the product according to your facial anatomy, skin thickness and areas of concern.

Rather than following the same injection pattern for every client, your provider can concentrate treatment where your skin needs it most. This may include areas of dehydration, fine lines or crepey-looking skin.

Results and Treatment Plan

Hydration and radiance may begin improving within the first few weeks. Fine lines and texture generally improve progressively as the product settles and the treatment series continues.

Many clients benefit from approximately 3 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments as recommended. Your exact plan will depend on the selected product, treatment area, skin condition and goals.

FAQ

Everything you need to know.

No. Dermal filler is typically used to add volume, contour or structural support. Skin Booster is placed more superficially to improve hydration and overall skin quality.

Manual injection allows the medical provider to adjust product placement, depth and amount throughout the treatment. This makes it possible to focus on specific concerns rather than applying the same pattern to every client.

Selected products may be appropriate for the under-eye area, but this region is delicate and prone to swelling. Your provider will determine whether treatment is suitable.

Yes, when medically appropriate. Your provider may adjust the selected product during future sessions as your skin condition and treatment goals change.

Schedule treatment at least one to two weeks before an important event. Small bumps, swelling or bruising may remain visible for several days.

Longevity depends on the selected product, treatment series, skin condition and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments are usually recommended to sustain the results.

Topical numbing may be applied before treatment. Most clients describe brief pinching, pressure or stinging during the injections.
