Rejuvenation Facial

Rejuvenation Facial

Rejuvenation Facial — treatment
Laser — in clinic

Skinfolio’s Rejuvenation Facial is a laser-based treatment that uses the M22 Q-Switched Nd:YAG system to improve dullness, uneven skin tone and selected pigmentation concerns.

Short, controlled laser pulses target excess pigment beneath the skin’s surface without ablating the surrounding tissue. The result is a progressively brighter, clearer and more even-looking complexion with minimal interruption to your routine.

How the Rejuvenation Facial Works

The M22 Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser delivers extremely short pulses of energy that are absorbed by excess melanin. This creates a photoacoustic effect that breaks concentrated pigment into smaller particles while limiting heat exposure to the surrounding tissue.

Your body gradually processes these fragmented particles after treatment, allowing visible pigmentation to fade progressively. Conservative laser-toning protocols may also help the complexion appear brighter and more uniform.

Customized Technology

The handpiece offers seven spot sizes, allowing treatment to be customized for individual pigmented areas or broader skin-toning applications.

Its Top-Hat beam profile is designed to distribute laser energy evenly across the treatment area. This homogeneous delivery helps reduce energy hot spots that could otherwise increase the risk of unwanted tissue effects.

What to Expect

Your appointment begins with cleansing and an assessment of the areas being treated. Protective eyewear is provided before the laser handpiece is passed systematically over the skin.

You may feel warmth, tingling or a sensation similar to a small elastic band snapping. Darker spots may temporarily become more noticeable immediately after treatment. Numbing is not normally required, although the treatment approach is adjusted to your comfort and skin response.

Results and Treatment Plan

Some clients notice a brighter appearance shortly after treatment, but pigmentation improvement is gradual. Treated spots may initially darken before becoming lighter or flaking naturally over the following days.

A series of treatments may be recommended because pigmentation can exist at different depths and may respond progressively. Your treatment frequency and maintenance plan will depend on the type of pigmentation, skin tone, sun exposure and response to previous sessions.

FAQ

Everything you need to know.

No. It is a laser treatment rather than a cleansing, extraction or massage-based facial. Its primary purpose is to improve selected pigmentation and overall skin tone.

No. A Q-Switched laser delivers a specific laser wavelength in extremely short pulses. IPL uses a broad spectrum of filtered light. Your provider will determine which technology is better suited to your concern.

Red or pink post-acne marks generally contain blood vessels rather than excess melanin. They may respond better to a vascular light or laser treatment.

Suitability depends on skin tone, pigment type, settings and the provider’s treatment protocol. A consultation is required because darker skin contains more melanin and may have a greater risk of post-treatment pigment changes.

It may be considered for carefully selected clients, but melasma can recur or worsen after inappropriate laser treatment. A personalized assessment is essential.
