The Glow Peel is a professional alpha hydroxy acid treatment that exfoliates the outermost layers of the skin. It helps release accumulated dead skin cells that can make the complexion appear dull, rough or uneven.
Because it works primarily at the superficial level, the Glow Peel offers a gentler introduction to professional chemical peeling than deeper resurfacing treatments.
Skin cells are naturally shed and replaced, but this process can become less efficient due to age, congestion, environmental exposure and certain skincare habits.
Alpha hydroxy acids loosen the bonds between accumulated surface cells, allowing them to shed more evenly. This reveals smoother-looking skin while supporting a more refined and luminous complexion.
Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid with a relatively small molecular structure, allowing it to exfoliate the skin efficiently. In the Glow Peel, 20% glycolic acid helps improve:

Lactic acid is another alpha hydroxy acid. It exfoliates while also supporting the skin’s natural moisturizing factors, making it useful for skin that looks dull, dry or rough.
The 10% lactic acid complements glycolic acid by helping create a smoother and more hydrated-looking result.
The combined formula provides multi-level surface exfoliation. Glycolic acid supports more efficient cell removal, while lactic acid contributes exfoliating and moisture-supporting benefits.
The treatment’s intensity depends on more than acid percentages. Contact time, formula pH, skin preparation and individual sensitivity all affect how the skin responds.
Your provider begins by assessing and cleansing your skin. Sensitive areas around the eyes, nostrils and lips may be protected before the peel is applied.
You may feel tingling, warmth or mild stinging while the solution is active. Your provider continuously monitors your skin and controls how long the peel remains on. The solution is then neutralized or removed according to protocol, followed by soothing hydration and sunscreen.
