EMSCULPT NEO is a body-contouring platform developed by BTL Aesthetics. It is the first non-invasive treatment designed to combine muscle stimulation and radiofrequency heating simultaneously.
The device can help strengthen and tone selected muscle groups while reducing localized subcutaneous fat in the treated area. Health Canada lists the BTL EMSCULPT device family as an active licensed Class II medical device.
HIFEM energy produces powerful, repeated muscle contractions that cannot be achieved to the same intensity through voluntary exercise. These contractions place high demand on the targeted muscles, stimulating adaptations associated with increased tone, strength and muscle mass.
At the same time, synchronized RF energy warms the muscle and subcutaneous fat. The heating supports muscle activity while triggering changes in selected fat cells, which are gradually processed by the body.
A treatment applicator is positioned over the selected muscle group and secured in place. You will feel rhythmic, intense muscle contractions together with deep warmth from the radiofrequency energy.
The intensity is gradually increased according to your tolerance. Treatment takes approximately 30 minutes and does not require needles, anesthesia or incisions.
Clinical studies demonstrate an average 25% increase in muscle mass and 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat following a complete treatment series. Results include improved muscle definition, reduced fat thickness, and enhanced body contour.
Initial improvements often appear within 6-8 weeks after completing the series, with optimal results visible at approximately 3 months as the body continues clearing destroyed fat cells and muscle tissue remodels.
